Care guide
Keep your essentials looking their best
Always follow the care label on the delivered item. The advice below is general guidance; it does not replace a supplier’s garment instructions.
Cashmere and wool
Air between wears and fold for storage. Use a gentle method appropriate to the label; avoid hot water, strong agitation and tumble drying. When washing is permitted, use cool water and a wool detergent, handle gently and reshape while damp. Dry flat away from direct heat. Never hang a heavy wet knit, as it can stretch.
Light surface pilling can occur with friction. Remove pills carefully with a suitable comb after testing an inconspicuous area. Keep jewellery and rough fastenings away from open weaves.
Modal and mixed-fibre wraps
Follow the fibre blend’s care label. Fine woven and pleated items need gentle handling. Avoid pulling pleats apart, wringing or ironing metallic details directly.
Polyester felt
Remove loose dust with a soft brush. Spot clean with a damp cloth, first testing a hidden area. Let the item dry fully before use. Do not assume a felt organiser is waterproof or impact protective. Keep it away from flames and hot surfaces.
Before storing
Make sure items are clean and completely dry. Store without crushing structured bags or stretching knit accessories. Keep care labels for future reference.
