Three easy ways to wear a wool wrap
A long wrap can change the feel of an outfit with a small adjustment. Start with a simple top or coat, then choose a shape that lets the fabric fall comfortably.

Start with the shape and the label
Check the width and length of the wrap before planning a knot. A broad shawl offers more shoulder coverage, while a narrower scarf may gather more easily at the neck. Fringe adds a finishing detail, but should not be used as a handle when adjusting the fabric.
Our green check wool wrap is listed as 65 × 190 cm, or approximately 25.59 × 74.80 inches, with about 2 cm of fringe at each end. The supplier lists 100% wool. We confirm the finished batch and label before dispatch; the fibre statement has not been independently laboratory tested.
1. The loose drape
Place the midpoint of the wrap behind your neck and let both ends fall down the front. Adjust them to an even length, or leave one slightly longer if that feels more relaxed. This shape lets a check or woven pattern remain visible across the front of a plain coat.
Keep the wrap clear of straps and fastenings that could catch the fabric. If you wear a shoulder bag, settle the strap first, then arrange the wrap around it so the layer does not bunch underneath.
2. The gentle loop
Fold a broad wrap lengthwise until it sits comfortably at your neck. Leave one end longer, bring that end loosely around once, and let it fall. Keep enough room to move your head freely; there is no need to pull the loop tightly.
If the fabric feels bulky, unfold or refold it into a flatter band. Adjust a little at a time. A gentle loop often suits an open jacket because the ends can sit inside the front without a large knot.
3. The shoulder layer
Open the wrap across your upper back and let the ends sit at the front of your shoulders. Bring one end across if you prefer more coverage, or leave both sides loose. Check your arm movement before adding a bag or another outer layer.
For a different surface effect, compare the mélange cashmere and wool wrap. Its selected shawl version is listed at 60 × 180 cm, or approximately 23.62 × 70.87 inches, and as a 50% cashmere, 50% wool blend. Choose it for the appearance and dimensions you prefer, rather than assuming every wrap has the same material.
Finish with care
When you take the wrap off, smooth it gently and fold it for storage. Keep rough zips and hook-and-loop fastenings away from the surface. For washing and drying, follow the label on the delivered item rather than applying one method to every wool or blended accessory.
Start with one shape, wear it with your usual layers, and adjust for your own comfort. The useful styling choice is the one that stays easy to wear throughout your day.
